Responsibilities

Since June, 2004 joining Wal-Mart China, I have worked as General Manager Assistant in Taiyuan Store for 2 years. My responsibilities are to cooperate with the GM for daily work, deal with daily reports, communicate with the buyer team on issues of merchandising, cooperate with sales department, assist GM to complete works arranged by HO and reply to HO, and ensure that information communication is smooth, coordinate and supervise daily work about operation departments, such as out of stock, replenishment, floor standard, sales actual and budget situation, PI control , do market survey about competitors in local area regularly and make related analysis report, supervise each department to control cost and make statistics and analysis, assist GM to do evaluation to management in store, translate when US bosses take a store tour, sometimes, when the government visit our store, I must company with them and follow up all the issues, and assist GM to make festival sales plans, etc. The sales are my most important work. During I worked in operation team, I followed my GM to participate in Wuhan new super center new store’s grand opening adn set up, in Ji’nan and Qindao, we organized the store structure adjustment, and we also participated the new store preparation of Taiyuan super center, during that period I take charge with the internal coordinate between the store and other departments from home office, coordinate the issues with property management company, also about the constructions issues I had to coordinate and follow up with the construction general contractor
